Rentokil Initial is seeking a Pest Control Technician to cover County Mayo. No prior experience required as comprehensive training is provided. You will manage your own schedule while solving unique customer problems in person.

Role includes a competitive salary package with progression bonuses, company vehicle and other benefits. Monday to Friday, 39-hour work week, with overtime opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence held for more than two years with no more than six penalty points.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect customer premises for signs of pests and identify risks.

The Role

Your role as a Pest Control Technician will involve covering a dedicated geographical area and providing support to our customers by resolving their pest issues.

Key responsibilities include:

• Inspecting customer premises for signs of pests and identifying potential risks
• Swiftly tackling pest problems by cleaning and removing evidence of pest behaviour
• Offering valuable advice to customers on the maintenance and hygiene of their premises
• Completing accurate reports after every visit
• Providing exceptional customer service and upholding a professional image at all times

Requirements

• Full driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Good Time Management - Your day will be busy with managing and prioritising your workload
• Enthusiasm is required to engage with every one of your customers, smile, say hello, and identify any opportunities to generate new business
