Job summary

Specsavers Gorey is looking for an enthusiastic Trainee Optical Assistant to join our team. No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training and development across the business, supported by experienced Opticians and Technicians on your journey.

Based in Gorey, the store offers career progression opportunities and a supportive environment to help you grow. The role includes full-time hours and weekend work as part of a friendly team, with structured training and development.

Qualifications

• Welcoming customers into store to create a friendly first impression.
• Booking in eye tests for customers.
• Pre-screening patients to support optician assessments.
• Providing style advice to help customers choose frames.
• Measuring frames to ensure proper fit.
• Taking phone calls to assist customers and coordinate appointments.
