Job summary

Specsavers in Ireland is seeking a proactive Trainee Optical Assistant in our Swan Shopping Centre store. No prior optics experience is required; we provide full training and development to help you grow alongside experienced Opticians and Technicians.

You’ll welcome customers, support the team, and help create an outstanding store environment while you learn essential optical terminology and operate IT systems with confidence.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Experience in fast-paced customer service environment is beneficial.
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology.
• Excellent communication and listening skills, and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Create an outstanding store environment for customers and team.
• Confidently welcome and help customers as they walk through the store.
