Job summary

Xeinadin in Kilkenny is seeking a Trainee Accountant to gain hands-on experience across accounting services while supporting senior colleagues in delivering high-quality client work.

You will develop technical accounting knowledge with exposure to accounts prep, tax, management accounts and other advisory services. Training towards ACA/ACCA will be provided, with immediate start and career progression within Xeinadin.

Qualifications

• Honours degree in accounting or related field with 2.1 expected.
• Leaving Cert points of 420+ or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
• Commitment to professional study towards ACA/ACCA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements.
• Assist with audits performance.
• Compile management accounts and bookkeeping.
• Prepare corporation tax, VAT, RCT and Income Tax returns.
• Process payroll and liaise with banks and advisors.
• Support in client company secretarial requirements.
