Ideal candidates hold a graduate-level qualification in engineering or a related field, with strong AutoCAD skills, the ability to learn new tools quickly, and good attention to detail, communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum graduate-level qualification in engineering, design, or a related technical field.
• Strong AutoCAD skills; experience with traffic management design is an advantage.
• Ability to learn and adapt to bespoke software tools; high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and efficient designs for temporary traffic management schemes.
• Use AutoCAD and other bespoke software tools to create drawings and layouts.
• Work closely with engineers, project managers, and site staff to deliver practical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, health and safety requirements, and client specifications.
• Maintain organised records of drawings and revisions.
• Learn and adapt to specialist traffic management design software, ensuring continuous improvement in design efficiency.
• Communicate clearly with internal teams and clients to clarify design requirements, resolve technical queries, and support project delivery.
• Review site photographs, surveys, and project data to ensure designs reflect real-world conditions.
