Virtu Financial is seeking high-potential students for a Developer Internship in Dublin. The 10-week programme runs from 21 June 2027 to 27 August 2027 and includes a company-curated global training week, real trading and quantitative problems, and engaging social events.

Interns will work with a senior team on scalable, high-performance trading systems. Applicants should have an excellent academic background in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, demonstrate strong problem-solving

Qualifications

• Excellent academic background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Work on a range of real development projects across our trading systems.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to design and optimize low-latency trading tools.
• Gain exposure to real-time data, algorithms and analytics used in a global financial platform.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and performance improvement initiatives.
