Job summary

Howdens Joinery is recruiting a Business Developer to grow a local depot. You will generate leads, arrange appointments, and drive pipeline activity, supporting Kitchen Sales Designers and Territory Sales Representatives. If you enjoy speaking with customers and targeting results, you’ll fit in.

• Confident communicator both face to face and on the phone.

Responsibilities

• Call existing trade customers to build long-term relationships and grow business.
• Use customer data to spot inactivity and bring accounts back on track.
• Manage targeted customer lists and achieve daily call activity levels.
• Keep up to date with customer projects to identify opportunities for value and repeat business.
• Arrange surveys and appointments for Kitchen Sales Designers.
• Promote products, offers and events to keep customers engaged.
• Assist administration, including invoicing and depot tasks.
• Collaborate with the wider team to help hit depot targets and deliver great service.
