Job summary

Smyths Toys is looking for Sales Assistants to join our team. This temporary role offers hourly pay with different rates for adults 20+ and under 20. You will provide excellent customer service, help customers find products, and support a fast-paced team across a busy store.

Experience in outdoor bikes, nursery, software & gaming, or backroom/warehouse is a plus. Flexible availability is required as stores operate 7 days a week; benefits and pension details apply.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is desirable but not essential.
• Flexible availability; stores open 7 days a week.
• Ideal experience areas: Outdoor/Bikes, Nursery, Software & Gaming, Backdoor/Warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants.
• Work as part of a fast paced and dynamic team.
• Keep the store clean and tidy.
• Pack shelves and merchandise.
• Work delivery and complete price changes.
• Work on the tills.
• Learn about and keep up to date with our products to help customers.
