Job summary

Rosborough Bros. Ltd T/A Quality Manufacturing Co. in Belgooly, Ireland, is seeking a TIG Welder/Fabricator to fabricate, assemble and weld metal components according to technical drawings and required quality standards.

You will read engineering drawings, measure and cut metal, set up TIG welding equipment, and perform welds to specification while maintaining equipment and following safety procedures. The role combines independent work with team collaboration in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as TIG welder or fabricator.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience measuring, cutting, fitting and assembling metal.
• Attention to detail and quality.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Measure, mark out, cut and prepare metal components.
• Set up and operate TIG welding equipment.
• Perform TIG welding to required quality.
• Fit, align and assemble metal parts.
• Grind, clean and finish welded joints.
• Inspect welds and fabricated parts for defects.
• Maintain welding and fabrication equipment.
• Follow all quality, health and safety procedures.
