Job summary

CRC Central Remedial Clinic in Dublin/Clontarf is seeking a Health & Social Care Assistant (Therapy Assistant) to support children with disabilities within a multidisciplinary team. You will deliver delegated therapeutic activities and practical supports, helping children thrive at home, school and in the community.

The role emphasises person-centred care, collaboration with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Speech & Language Therapists, and holds a public sector wage scale

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 Healthcare qualification with Therapy Assistant modules or equivalent.
• Within 12 months, complete required QQI therapy assistant modules if not already held.
• At least one year in healthcare support with commitment to ongoing qualification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy programmes and interventions as directed by supervising clinicians.
• Support children in individual and group settings.
• Assist with functional activities and daily living tasks where required.
• Support home visits, assessments and follow-up programmes.
• Work with families and multidisciplinary team members to meet care goals.
• Observe, monitor and report progress and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical and administrative records.
• Assist in preparing therapy resources and materials.
