Bon Secours Hospital Cork is looking for a Theatre Nurse to support a broad range of services. This full-time, permanent position offers full training and mentoring, with opportunities for further education.

The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team, take responsibility for nursing care on shifts, and uphold the highest standards of patient care. Requirements include NMBI General Division registration, 18 months acute, 12 months theatre, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Registered in the General Division of the live register of nurses kept by the NMBI.
• At least 18 months experience in an acute setting.
• At least 12 months in a Theatre setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for allocated patients on each shift.
• Collaborate within the nursing team and multidisciplinary team to maintain high standards.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure patient safety, confidentiality, and documentation.
