ADI\'s RF Semiconductors (RFS) group develops a wide range of high-performance Microwave PLL/VCO’s, Clock Buffers and Timing products for Automotive, Industrial, and Communications infrastructure. Our products deliver best-in-class performance for phase noise, jitter, and spurious emissions, and feature high levels of integration in compact, small-form-factor packages.

RFS is seeking a motivated Test Development Engineer to join our Test Development group located in Limerick.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative hardware and software measurement solutions, working as part of an experienced and supportive team, while also engaging closely with Design, Bench Evaluation, and Application Engineers.

The RFS group will present many varied opportunities to the successful candidate for both technical and professional development.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and debug software for high-performance measurements and best-in-class test coverage solutions
  • Develop high-performance PCBs for Final Test and Wafer Probe
  • Support the development of High-Performance Test solutions to allow first Silicon verification, Characterisation, Qualifications, and Release to the Manufacturing Test Site
  • Contribute to Design for Testability (DFT), Built-In-Self-Test (BIST), definitions and development, to support the reduction in Full Factory Cost (FFC) and improved testability
  • Work within a multi-disciplined project team
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree with significant Electronic engineering or equivalent
  • The ideal candidate should have a sound practical knowledge of analogue and digital electronics and show initiative in identifying and solving technical problems in a team environment
  • Knowledge of software languages, ideally in VB, C/C++
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
