Overview

With 50+ years of experience and expertise, Apleona is part of a global business providing integrated facility management services across Ireland. We offer flexibility, career progression and a competitive start rate. We are looking for part-time or full-time cleaners to join our team in Ireland.

Responsibilities

To undertake daily building cleaning in line with Health & Safety Standards. The cleaner will work within a team to ensure that the building is kept to the highest standards of cleanliness.

  • Undertake general cleaning of all areas of the building, including offices, floors, corridors, stairwells and toilets, etc.
  • Vacuuming, dusting and washing floors and walls
  • Sweeping, floor polishing and waste disposal
  • Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
  • Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Ensuring the toilet facilities are kept clean and supplies are replenished when required
  • Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, showers and elevators
  • General housekeeping and cleaning around the building.
  • Inform the Supervisor/Manager of stock required for replenishing purposes
  • Undertake any other duties as requested
Requirements
  • A can-do attitude
  • Experience of a similar role
  • Good working knowledge of English
  • Knowledge and willingness to apply safe working practices
  • Knowledge of how to use the equipment necessary to carry out the assigned tasks
  • Garda vetting required
