Job summary

Speedy Group UK&I is seeking a Test and Run Technician in Dublin to perform basic electrical and functionality testing, service and clean returned hire items, and ensure they are safe and presentable for the next customer. This busy depot role offers training and career development within a supportive team.

You’ll need basic electrical and mechanical skills, good communication, and a willingness to learn. The role supports flexible working arrangements and a strong focus on delivering quality

Qualifications

• Basic electrical skills (12/24v) required.
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to use tools effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in hire industry or engineering is desirable.
• Ability to support ESG strategy – Decade to Deliver.

Job Title - Test and Run Technician

Location - Dublin

Monday to Friday - 07:00 - 16:00 - 42 hours per week

The role of a Test and Run Technician is a busy and productive role in the depot, performing basic electrical and functionality testing as well as servicing and cleaning products returned from hire to ensure they are safe and presentable, ready for the next customer to take away.

What you’ll need:

• Basic electrical skills (12/24v)
• Basic mechanical skills and the ability to use tools effectively
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Previous experience working within the hire industry or other engineering field is desirable
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
