Job summary

Smyths Toys is seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team in-store. You will provide excellent customer service, help customers find products, and work across a busy, friendly shop floor.

The role includes packing shelves, assisting with deliveries, price updates, and tills. We operate seven days a week, and flexibility is important to cover shifts and busy periods.

Qualifications

• Retail experience in the areas listed is desirable.
• Flexible to work across 7 days a week.
• Willingness to learn products and assist customers.

About The Role

Are you looking for a new challenge and want to be part of an expanding business, filled with fun & exciting opportunities? Come and join our team of superheroes, as we are on the search to recruit our next generation of Sales Assistants, for Smyths Toys Superstores!

This is a temporary contract, with a rate of pay of €14.25 per hour for over 20 and €13.00 per hour for under 20.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service


• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants


• Work as part of a fast paced and dynamic team


• Keep the store clean and tidy


• Pack shelves and merchandise


• Work delivery and complete price changes


• Work on the tills


• Learn about and keep up to date with our products in order to help customers

Our stores are open 7 days a week so we need our Sales Assistants to be as flexible as possible.
