Job summary

Smyths Toys is seeking a Sales Assistant in Tallaght, Dublin for a temporary role with pay rates of €14.25 per hour for over 20s and €13.00 per hour for under 20s. You will join a fast-paced, customer-focused team, helping customers, handling tills, stocking shelves and keeping the store tidy.

Flexible hours across 7 days a week, with a benefits package including pension, life assurance, employee assistance, in-store discount and parental payments. Equal opportunities employer.

This is a temporary contract, with a rate of pay of €14.25 per hour for over 20 and €13.00 per hour for under 20.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service
• Ascertain customers' needs and wants
• Work as part of a fast paced and dynamic team
• Keep the store clean and tidy
• Pack shelves and merchandise
• Work delivery and complete price changes
• Work on the tills
• Learn about and keep up to date with our products in order to help customers

The Ideal Candidate

Retail experience in the following areas is highly desirable, but not essential:

• Nursery
• Software & Gaming
• Backdoor/Warehouse

Our stores are open 7 days a week so we need our Sales Assistants to be as flexible as possible.
