Job summary

Ryanair Ltd. is seeking a Flight Safety Officer to join the Safety Services Office in our Dublin-based Corporate Head Office. This temporary maternity cover role supports our Safety Management System and handles sensitive safety information.

The position follows a 4-week roster: 3 weeks in the office and 1 flying week, with a 5-on/2-off pattern. You will investigate occurrences, monitor safety data, and advise on safety matters to help maintain high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and safety practices.
• Experience in risk assessment and hazard identification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Process confidential safety data and liaise with regulatory agencies.
• Investigate safety incidents and act as Investigator where required.
• Monitor and action safety reports and data.
• Prepare reports for Safety Manager and other stakeholders.
• Promote and support the Ryanair Confidential Reporting System (RCRS).
• Engage in Local Air Safety Groups and coordinate with Base Captains.
