SMBC use both internal and external trade and transaction reporting monitoring to identify potential issues and there is a dedicated Operations and IT TTR team to manage their resolution.
We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Analyst to join our IT team supporting Trade and Transaction Reporting within an Investment Banking environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions, with a focus on MIFID II, EMIR, and SFTR. This role requires strong technical acumen, deep understanding of investment banking products, and hands‑on experience with regulatory reporting systems and data flows.
The anticipated salary range for this role is €310p/d - €660p/d, with the final offer determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, role scope, location, and relevant market factors. In addition to base salary, the role may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award and a competitive benefits package, including core benefits such as pension provision.
TTR IT is a team of Engineering Professionals who are domain experts in TTR disciplines. This team comes under a wider Cross‑Product IT organisation Cross‑Product – it is part of the Information Technology, and Security Department (ITSD). This group serves SMBC by developing and maintaining integrated technology solutions that transcend individual product lines, fostering interoperability, scalability, and efficiency across various banking operations.
Desirable Qualifications:
This new role forms a key part of the EMEA Cross‑Product FinReg IT Platforms team, driving delivery and enablement of IT solutions for EMEA Financial Regulation covering all legal entities and appreciating the intertwined requirements in Regulatory, Resolution and Transactional Regulatory requirements.
This role is key to the delivery of strategic IT solutions to Regulatory Reporting functions across all SMBC EMEA entities.
