Job summary

AbbVie in Ballytivnan, Co. Sligo, invites a Technical Shift Leader to guide a biologics fill-finish team across days and evenings. You will drive safety, quality and regulatory compliance while delivering timely manufacturing with cost-consciousness.

You will act as technical expert, coach the team, support planning, and interface with QA and health authorities as needed in a fast-paced GMP environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in batch processing, automation, commissioning, or validation in FDA/HHPRA-regulated industry.
• 1 year direct supervisory experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, pharmacy, engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Deep knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements for pharma.

Responsibilities

• Act as your team's key point of contact and technical expert.
• Lead and support your team to deliver compounding, filling, lyophilization, and related activities to meet operating objectives.
• Coach & mentor your manufacturing team to maximize effectiveness.
• Promote contamination control and aseptic processing compliance.
• Communicate departmental goals to provide quality, compliant products safely.
