Job description

Join a globally distributed technology organization where you will drive critical IT and Information Security initiatives across multiple technical and business teams. In this hands-on role, you will coordinate projects from initial planning through implementation and operational handover, ensuring clear ownership, priorities, and measurable outcomes. You will play a key role in advancing security improvements, coordinating vulnerability remediation, and ensuring critical actions are completed on time. By consolidating information across multiple Jira environments, you will turn fragmented project data into actionable insights that support better decision-making. You will collaborate closely with IT, Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and Platform/DevOps teams in a fast-paced, international environment. This is an opportunity to take ownership, improve delivery processes, and make a meaningful impact on technology operations and organizational security.

Accountabilities
  • IT Project and Initiative Management

    • Lead IT projects and internal technology initiatives from requirements gathering and planning through implementation, rollout, and operational handover.

    • Define project scope, milestones, responsibilities, dependencies, timelines, and success criteria.

    • Coordinate delivery across IT, Engineering, Infrastructure, Information Security, and business teams.

    • Proactively identify and resolve blockers, manage competing priorities, mitigate risks, and drive decisions to keep projects on track.

    • Oversee initiatives involving identity and access management (IAM/SSO), Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, enterprise SaaS, endpoint technologies, AWS and cloud services, corporate connectivity, internal systems, and IT automation.

  • Information Security Delivery Management

    • Coordinate security initiatives across Information Security, Engineering, Infrastructure, Platform/DevOps, and Red Team and Blue Team functions.

    • Track vulnerability findings and remediation activities from identification through validation and closure, ensuring clear ownership and realistic target dates.

    • Manage follow-up actions arising from penetration tests, Red Team/Blue Team exercises, security reviews, incidents, and ongoing security improvement programs.

    • Ensure security-related tasks are appropriately prioritized, supported by actionable remediation plans, and completed within agreed timelines.

    • Identify stalled, overdue, or high-risk activities and drive escalation, prioritization, and cross-team follow-up.

    • Facilitate security delivery without directly conducting security testing or vulnerability analysis.

  • Jira Management, Task Governance, and Analytics

    • Maintain consolidated visibility of IT and Information Security initiatives distributed across multiple Jira instances, projects, teams, and workflows.

    • Establish consistent reporting practices, ensuring data quality, traceability, and reliable visibility into delivery progress.

    • Monitor backlogs, aging tasks, overdue work, vulnerability remediation progress, throughput, and other relevant delivery metrics.

    • Analyze historical and current data to identify recurring issues, delivery bottlenecks, emerging risks, and performance trends.

    • Automate data collection, aggregation, and reporting wherever practical to improve operational efficiency.

    • Transform fragmented task-level information into actionable management insights that support prioritization and informed decision-making.

  • Cross-Team Coordination and Governance

    • Serve as a central coordination point between Information Security, IT, Engineering, Infrastructure, Platform/DevOps, system owners, business functions, and management.

    • Maintain clear visibility of risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and commitments across distributed teams.

    • Clarify ownership, facilitate prioritization, and resolve coordination challenges when teams have competing demands.

    • Deliver concise management updates focused on progress, trends, exceptions, risks, and decisions requiring attention.

    • Establish practical project governance and delivery processes that strengthen accountability without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy.

Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT/IS Project Management, Security Project Management, Technical Project Management, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated experience delivering technology or security initiatives across multiple technical teams and managing complex dependencies.

  • Experience working closely with Information Security and Engineering organizations, with a practical understanding of how technical teams operate.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Jira for project coordination, task tracking, backlog management, and delivery governance.

  • Experience working across multiple Jira projects, workflows, or systems, ideally with an understanding of how to consolidate information from different environments.

  • Proven ability to produce consolidated reports, define and monitor KPIs, and analyze delivery trends using task-level data.

  • Strong project management capabilities, including scope definition, timeline management, prioritization, risk mitigation, dependency tracking, and stakeholder coordination.

  • Experience collaborating with globally distributed teams across different functions and time zones.

  • Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly with technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior management.

  • Strong analytical thinking, organizational skills, and attention to detail, combined with a proactive approach to identifying problems and driving solutions.

  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of delivery outcomes, and balance structured governance with the flexibility required in a fast-moving technology environment.

The following qualifications and experience are considered an advantage:

  • Experience managing vulnerability remediation programs and coordinating security improvement initiatives.

  • Familiarity with Red Team and Blue Team activities and the coordination of security testing follow-up actions.

  • Experience consolidating data across multiple Jira instances or building automated Jira reporting solutions.

  • Knowledge of operational dashboards, workflow automation, and delivery analytics.

  • Exposure to AWS, cloud infrastructure, or cloud security environments.

  • Experience working in large-scale online technology organizations or high-availability environments.

  • Relevant professional certifications, such as PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, CISSP, CISM, Security+, Agile, or Scrum.

Benefits:

  • Quality equipment: Access to high-quality equipment to help you work efficiently from your preferred location.

  • Company retreats: Annual company retreats offering opportunities to connect with colleagues, strengthen collaboration, and build professional relationships.

  • International collaboration: Work with distributed teams across technology, infrastructure, security, and business functions.

  • Professional impact: Take ownership of meaningful technology and security initiatives while contributing to improved operational performance and delivery practices.
