Job summary

Abbott Ireland in Donegal Town is seeking a Validation Engineer to develop and execute medium to large-scale project plans and validations, supporting manufacturing performance and yields through expertise in equipment, processes and materials.

You'll generate validation protocols, trials, and reports for equipment, test methods, and processes, contributing to continuous improvement and compliance with GMP and environmental health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Third level qualification in Science or Engineering.
• 4+ years relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, identify, plan and conduct medium to large-size projects with risk-managed execution plans and timelines.
• Generate and execute validation protocols, trials/studies and create reports for equipment, test methods, processes and materials.
• Ensure validation protocols and reports are generated, executed, and reviewed for related Process & Software Validation Activities.
• Lead and contribute to analytical process development through design and execution of experiments.
• Perform data analysis, evaluate results, and contribute to design, process or document improvements.
• Support CAPA investigations and report on implementation for the process area.
