  • Leading business development activities, including winning major commissions, shaping proposals and securing framework appointments.

  • Raising WSP's profile across the sector through industry engagement, conference participation, thought leadership and professional networks.
  • Playing a key leadership role across WSP's four pillars: People, Clients & Growth, Operations and Technical Excellence.

  • Well-established relationships with key transport sector clients and stakeholders across Ireland, including organisations such as TII, NTA, local authorities and government bodies.
  • A proven ability to win work, develop client relationships and contribute significantly to business growth.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering projects across a range of sectors and clients.
  • Strategic thinking, commercial awareness and the ability to identify market opportunities and translate them into successful outcomes.
  • Deep knowledge of Irish transport planning policy, transport investment processes and project development frameworks.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage confidently at executive and board level.
  • A passion for developing people, fostering an inclusive culture and enabling teams to achieve their full potential.
