Job summary

Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) is recruiting a Team Leader for The Bridge Community in Kilcullen, Co. Kildare.

This permanent, full-time position offers a salary of €47,395–€56,349 per annum and the chance to lead a committed team providing residential and day services to adults with disabilities. The successful applicant will hold a Level 7 QQI in Social Care Studies (or equivalent), have at least two years of management experience, and three years working with vulnerable adults.

Qualifications

• Level 7 QQI Framework in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Health/Social Care.
• At least 2 years of management experience at similar level.
• 3 years of experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
• Understanding of current policy and developments in Social Care within disability services.
• Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
• Full driving licence is essential.

Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) supports people with physical/intellectual disabilities and autism. CCoI operates Residential and Day Services across 15 locations, in which residents and day-attendees are supported to live an ordinary life, a life like any other.

We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join The Bridge Community, Kilcullen, Co. Kildare.

Job Title: Team Leader
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Fulltime (40 hours per week)
Salary: €47,395 - €56,349 per annum

What you will need:

• Hold a minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework - BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Heath or Social Care.


• At least 2 years management experience at a similar level of responsibility.


• Have 3 years experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.


• An understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services.


• Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.


• Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, to include Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.


• A full driver's licence is an essential requirement.
