Job summary

RESILIENCE HEALTHCARE LIMITED in Ardee, Co. Louth, Ireland seeks a Team Leader to join our social care team. The role is full-time and permanent, based at Maple Tree Lodge, Ardee, with a salary of €41,600 to €43,831 per annum and a 40-hour week.

You will supervise and mentor Support Workers, support recruitment and onboarding, ensure HIQA compliance and person-centred care plans, and contribute to service delivery with a focus on safety, rights and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in social care or disability services.
• Experience supporting individuals with complex needs in regulated environments.
• Leadership or supervisory experience within a team.
• Full, clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Promoting health, wellbeing, safety and rights of Service Users in line with policies and HIQA standards.
• Supervising, guiding and mentoring Support Workers, facilitating Key Worker meetings, developing future leaders.
• Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, induction, and handling performance, attendance and conduct matters.
• Ensuring Person-Centred Plans are in place, implemented and reviewed; managing medications; carrying out audits; root cause analysis.
• Supporting rostering within budgeted hours, processing payroll inputs, maintaining HRIS, and assisting with referrals and discharge processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Promoting the health, wellbeing, safety and rights of Service Users in line with company policies and HIQA standards, and demonstrating best practice when providing direct care
• Supervising, guiding and mentoring Support Workers, facilitating Key Worker meetings, and identifying and developing future leaders within the team
• Supporting the Service Manager with recruitment, selection and onboarding, delivering service-level induction for new starters, and assisting with performance, attendance and conduct matters
• Ensuring Person-Centred Plans are in place, implemented and reviewed for each Service User; overseeing medication management; carrying out audits; completing Root Cause Analysis following incidents; and supporting safeguarding and HIQA compliance processes
• Supporting rostering within agreed budgeted hours, processing weekly and monthly payroll inputs, maintaining the HRIS, and assisting with referral assessments, transition planning and discharge processes

Essential Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a social care or disability service
• Proven experience supporting individuals with complex needs in a regulated environment
• Experience providing leadership, supervision or acting-up responsibilities within a team
• QQI Level 5 qualification in a relevant discipline (QQI Level 7 desirable)
• Commitment to completing QQI Level 6 in Management Essentials
• Sound knowledge of HIQA standards, safeguarding and regulatory requirements
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
• Full, clean driving licence
