Job summary

The Dains Group in Dublin is hiring a Tax Trainee to join our Dublin office where you will have the opportunity to grow your career in tax alongside become a qualified chartered tax accountant. You’ll be exposed to corporate tax, personal tax, and VAT across Ireland, and you will help support the preparation of tax returns, advising on compliance and complex transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 6 in Maths and English at GCSE level or Irish equivalent.
• You have completed 6 subjects in your Leaving Certificate with a strong result in English, Maths and Irish. (Equivalent to 112 UCAS points)
• 3 year structured training programme leading to Chartered Accountant status (ACA, CTA) is offered.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of tax returns and advise on compliance.
• Assist with corporate tax, personal tax and VAT work within the tax team.
• Engage in a fast-paced environment to develop tax advisory skills.

Our Tax Team

Our Tax team gives you the best of both worlds! You will receive exposure to a wide range of tax disciplines in Ireland, including corporate tax, personal tax, and VAT.

You’ll work with businesses and individuals across Ireland to ensure they meet their tax obligations while identifying opportunities for tax efficiency and planning. Our tax experts are detail orientated individuals who provide tailored advice to businesses and individuals. You will help to support the preparation of tax returns, advising on compliance and supporting with complex transactions.

Working as part of our tax team will allow you to be apart of a fast paced, problem solving environment allowing you to quickly enhance your career.
