Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee tax compliance and advisory assignments across a diverse client portfolio.
• Provide commercially focused tax planning and advice to business owners, directors and individuals.
• Review and oversee income tax returns and identify tax planning opportunities.
• Advise on business structuring, reorganisations, transactions and succession planning.
• Manage client relationships and act as a trusted point of contact.
• Support business development through client meetings, referrals and proposals.
• Mentor and develop junior team members and help shape the tax team.

Are you a CTA-qualified tax professional looking for a role where you can have a genuine impact on a growing practice, build client relationships and play a key role in shaping the future of a tax team?

I'm working with an established and highly regarded accountancy and advisory practice in Co. Meath, who are looking to appoint a Senior Tax Manager as they continue to develop and grow their tax offering.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Tax Manager or existing Senior Tax Manager from a medium-sized practice or larger firm who wants greater autonomy, commercial exposure and a clear pathway towards leadership.

The Opportunity

You'll take ownership of a varied client portfolio, working predominantly with Irish SMEs, business owners, company directors and high-net-worth individuals.

The role offers a strong blend of tax compliance, business advisory and tax planning, with the opportunity to work across multiple tax heads and become a trusted adviser to clients.

You'll also play an important role in the growth of the tax department, with exposure to business development, new client opportunities and the development of the firm's tax services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee tax compliance and advisory assignments across a diverse client portfolio.

• CTA qualified, with strong Irish tax experience.
• Experience operating at Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager level.
• A background in practice, ideally within a medium-sized firm or larger.
• Strong business advisory and compliance experience.

Working Hours
