You will handle standard and self-assessed returns and liaise with revenue commissioners. Educational support will be provided to pursue TMITI/CTA qualifications.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a tax department preferred but not essential.
• TMITI exams desired but not essential.
• Interest in continuing to improve and build upon tax knowledge in a fast paced environment.
• A minimum of two years in an administrative or customer focused role essential.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work towards deadlines and work under pressure.
• Knowledge of risk control regulatory environment.
• Commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare both standard and self-assessed tax returns for clients.
• Answer client queries in relation to tax and financial advice in a timely and polite manner.
• Have a professional and empathetic approach to customer queries.
• To comply with risk control and regulatory requirements that are relevant to this role.
