Job summary

Total Talent is seeking a motivated Tax Advisor to join our growing professional services team in Ireland. You will deliver high-quality tax compliance and advisory support to a diverse client base, working closely with clients and experienced accountants to provide practical tax solutions.

You will build strong client relationships, liaise with Revenue, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless service offering.

Qualifications

• AITI / CTA qualified with a strong technical knowledge of Irish taxation.
• Previous experience within an accountancy practice or tax advisory environment.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and provide a high standard of client service.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Well-organised, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
• A collaborative team player who can build positive working relationships across the business.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, delivering professional tax compliance and advisory services.
• Provide guidance and support to accounting colleagues on a range of taxation matters and technical queries.
• Liaise directly with Revenue on behalf of clients, managing correspondence and resolving tax-related issues.
• Assist clients with tax planning, compliance requirements, and ongoing advisory needs.
• Analyse client situations and recommend effective tax solutions tailored to their circumstances.
• Work collaboratively across departments to ensure a seamless service offering for clients.
