Job summary

Comer Group Ireland is seeking a part-time Cleaner to join our team in Tallaght Cross East, Tallaght, Dublin 24. The role offers variety in residential cleaning and requires diligent, detail-oriented individuals who can work both in a team and on their own initiative.

Responsibilities include cleaning public areas, lifting and lifting area maintenance, waste bin upkeep, windows, dusting, and reporting issues to management. A full driving license and transport are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cleaner; training can be provided.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Execute management and property team requests promptly.
• Maintain public areas in commercial and residential properties.
• Clean glass, dust surfaces, and wipe down fixtures.
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and clean lifts and lift areas.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures.

Job description

Comer Group Ireland are currently seeking a part-time Cleaner to join the team working 20 hours per week. This role offers great variety for the right candidate, with duties and responsibilities in residential cleaning. This role will be based in Tallaght Cross East, Tallaght, Dublin 24. The ideal candidate for this role will be diligent, take pride in their work and maintain a high level of attention to detail. The candidate should have the ability to work as part of a team and individually on their own initiative.

Details of the role are as follows;

Responsibilities of the role will include:

• Actioning of requests from Management and Property Teams in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintaining all public areas in Commercial and Residential Properties.
• Empty and wipe down waste bins.
• Clean glass and window areas.
• Wipe and dust surfaces.
• Dust/Clean/straighten furniture and table fixtures.
• Dust and clean doors and window/door sills and ledges.
• Clean lifts and lift areas.
• Vacuum carpets and mop floors.
• Sweep tiles or hardwood floor areas.
• Adhere to lost property procedures.
• Ensure all Health and Safety procedures are adhered to within the Department.
• Reporting any maintenance issues to the Maintenance Manager.
• Report any complaints to the Maintenance Manager.
• Maintain all tools and equipment.
• Maintain storerooms and chemical room and ensure these are kept neat and tidy.
• Perform any other reasonable task or instruction as directed by management or a representative of management.
• Maintain clear and concise communications with all departments and management regarding issues at assigned properties.
• Assist other departments on busy days and complete any other duties as request by the department Supervisor or Manager to meet business demands.
• Prioritising tasks and duties as required.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience as a cleaner (however training can be provided for the right person)
• Full Drivers licence with own transport
• Excellent communication skills
• Good at working on own initiate
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to multitask
• Works well on own initiative.
• Adapt well to a fast paced environment
• Be physically fit - use of buffing machine / carpet washer will be required
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment an advantage however training can be provided.
• Confident with technology.
