Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of professional experience, including internships, apprenticeships, or other early-career experience.
  • A first experience or strong interest in HR, recruitment, administration, communication, customer-facing work, or a related field.
  • Previous experience interacting with candidates, customers, or in a commercial environment is a plus.
  • Curiosity and confidence with digital tools, with an interest in learning HRIS and ATS platforms.
  • Interest in AI, automation, and using technology to improve everyday processes.
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Genuine interest in people and a strong service mindset toward both candidates and employees.
  • Fast-learning mindset, curiosity, and willingness to develop expertise across new HR topics.
  • Entrepreneurial approach, with the initiative and autonomy to identify opportunities and build solutions.
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills, with the ability to present an opportunity convincingly and engage different audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability when handling sensitive administrative information.
  • Discretion and a high level of confidentiality when dealing with employee and candidate data.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote environment and communicate effectively in writing.
  • Fluent French, as it is the primary business language.
  • English proficiency at B2 level or above, as English is the secondary working language.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day HR administration, including preparing and following up on employment contracts, amendments, renewals, and other HR documentation.
  • Help manage HR processes through the HRIS, including leave, absences, expenses, employee information, and other administrative tasks.
  • Contribute to payroll preparation and work closely with Finance to ensure HR data remains accurate and up to date.
  • Respond to employee questions and provide a reliable, service-oriented point of contact for People-related matters.
  • Conduct HR interviews with candidates, understand their motivations and expectations, present opportunities clearly, and contribute to a positive candidate experience.
  • Act as an enthusiastic ambassador for the organization, communicating its projects, culture, and opportunities to prospective employees.
  • Coordinate pre-onboarding and onboarding activities, including HRIS workflows, welcome materials, equipment, and first-day processes.
  • Manage elements of the employee lifecycle, including equipment logistics, access management, internal mailing lists, and collaboration tools.
  • Coordinate with external partners and service providers supporting People operations.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and improve HR processes through automation, documentation, AI tools, and better workflows.
  • Test new approaches, measure their effectiveness, and implement improvements that make People operations more efficient.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Talent & People Specialist - Junior based in Ireland.

This is a broad, hands-on People role designed for an early-career professional who wants to build a strong foundation across HR and Talent.
You will combine People operations, HR administration, recruitment, onboarding, and employee experience in a fast-growing, fully remote environment.
The role offers exposure to a wide range of HR topics while working closely with an experienced People team.
You will interact with candidates and employees, help coordinate recruitment processes, and support smooth onboarding experiences.
You will also contribute to HR systems, documentation, process improvements, automation, and the effective use of AI tools.
