What you do at McKesson matters. We foster a culture where you can grow, make an impact, and are empowered to bring new ideas. Together, we thrive as we shape the future of health for patients, our communities, and our people. If you want to be part of tomorrow's health today, we want to hear from you.

Are you a tech-savvy recruiter who loves finding talent before everyone else does? We're looking for a Talent Advisor to join McKesson's Talent Acquisition team in Cork – someone who brings curiosity, strong sourcing instincts, local market knowledge and a passion for creating a standout candidate experience. In this role, you'll partner with hiring managers and HR leaders across our global business to understand hiring needs, shape smart sourcing strategies and engage the talent that will help McKesson continue to grow. • Proactively source and engage talent through LinkedIn, AI-enabled sourcing tools, talent intelligence platforms, networking, referrals, communities and market mapping.
  • Bring a digital-first mindset, using AI, automation and the latest recruiting technology to improve sourcing, outreach, candidate engagement and hiring manager insight.
  • Turn local market insight into practical hiring advice, including talent availability, competitor activity, compensation trends and candidate expectations.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers, HR business partners and business leaders to make sure the right people are hired for the right roles at the right time.

  • Support hiring managers in building competitive, well-positioned offer packages.
  • Champion referrals, internal networks and talent communities as part of a proactive sourcing approach.
  • Use recruiting metrics, sourcing analytics and talent intelligence to improve decision-making, measure performance and continuously enhance the recruitment experience.

This role is ideal for someone who is naturally curious, commercially minded and always looking for a smarter way to recruit. You'll be excited by AI, sourcing innovation, candidate engagement and the opportunity to influence how we attract talent in a competitive market. You don't need to know every tool on the market — but you do need to be someone who is willing to test, learn and bring fresh ideas to the table.

  • Ability to manage fast-paced, high-volume recruitment activity while staying organised, responsive and focused on quality.
  • Strong direct sourcing skills, including Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, talent mapping, pipeline building, referral generation and outreach to passive candidates.
  • Confidence using AI, automation and recruiting technology to improve sourcing, screening, candidate communication and workflow efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of local talent markets, particularly Cork and Ireland, with the ability to turn market insight into practical sourcing and hiring recommendations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence hiring strategies based on talent gaps, market risks and business priorities.
