Talent Acquisition Specialist – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (Part Time)

Your role will be to support our organisation and its leaders to attract, secure and onboard new talent and ensure that our current and future resourcing needs are met on a timely basis. This is a part-time position with flexibility on the working schedule with the option to work out of either our Dublin or Cork city offices.

What You Will Do
  • Develop a Talent Acquisition Strategy with supporting action plan to meet the organisation’s current and future talent needs
  • Lead the recruitment and selection process for vacancies from entry up to senior level and support on all aspects of the on-boarding process, for all offices in Ireland
  • Proactively source, map, and engage with potential candidates through platforms such as LinkedIn and other social channels to build strong talent pipelines for current and future business needs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, senior leaders, and external stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor to ensure a seamless and collaborative recruitment process
  • Research talent acquisition trends and developments and regularly review Workday Recruiting for improvements and efficiencies
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual Talent KPI analysis and reporting
  • Represent the organisation at careers fairs and recruitment events and build relationships with external stakeholders to raise the organisation brand in the market
  • Lead talent acquisition projects as required including internship and graduate hiring
  • Issue onboarding documentation including contract management
  • Support HR colleagues by taking on tasks and projects outside of core recruitment responsibilities as required and contribute to the overall success of the wider HR function
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Third level qualification in Human Resource Management, Business, or other related discipline
  • Previous track record in a Recruiting / Talent / HR / Retail Insurance Broking or Sales roles
  • Good HR IT systems experience e.g. Workday would be an advantage
  • Good working knowledge of employment law and its application
  • Familiarity with the Central Bank of Ireland Minimum Competency Code and its requirements
  • Previous experience in a financial services / regulated environment and roles / career paths in the industry
  • Proven experience in direct sourcing using LinkedIn Recruiter and other talent platforms along with the ability to prospect and sell opportunities to candidates
  • Proven relationship management skills with the ability to influence, partner, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
