Job summary

Qualcomm is seeking a System Hardware Validation Engineer to join the SVE team, focusing on driver/firmware development, validation, and test use-cases for Snapdragon subsystems. You will collaborate with systems, software and hardware teams to deliver robust pre- and post-silicon validation across platforms.

The role requires strong C/C++ and assembly skills, experience with ARM and RISC‑V, and proficiency in automation, SCM tools, and defect tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field is a plus.
• PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of low-level hardware drivers for Qualcomm Snapdragon Subsystems.
• Manage validation and testing of the driver/hardware.
• Migrate drivers to new platforms as required.
• Drive innovation in software use cases.
• Test plan development and execution.
• Ongoing code re-factoring.
