Job summary

Center Parcs UK & Ireland is seeking a Pool Manager support role at Longford Forest in Ireland. You will assist with budgets, lead a large team, oversee daily pool operations and water quality, and coordinate with maintenance to ensure the Subtropical Swimming Paradise runs smoothly while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires RLSS Pool Lifeguard or IWS qualification, a First Aid certificate, and strong customer service and leadership skills.

Support the Pool Manager in ensuring guest safety and smooth operation of the Subtropical Swimming Paradise. Oversee commercial performance, cost control and team management while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and water quality.

• Assist with managing budgets for staff, operations and revenue

• Oversee daily pool operations, ensuring water quality meets standards
• Coordinate with technical services for maintenance and repairs
• Drive team wellbeing and performance through effective management

Your working hours

• Full-time contract
• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 150 hours over a 4‑week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
• This role includes early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays
• Premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday

About You

• RLSS Pool Lifeguard / IWS Qualification
• First Aid Certificate
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, genuine approach
• Proven management experience, including leading large teams in a similar environment
• Strong customer service skills, ensuring high standards and service performance KPIs

Note: You'll need to complete a Garda vetting before starting (we'll help with that).
