Job summary

Cannock Distribution is seeking an Environmental and Sustainability Officer to join our growing sustainability team. You will analyze environmental data, support carbon reporting and compliance across the group, and drive continuous improvement.

You will work closely with our Group Sustainability Manager, track data quality, and support ISO 14001 processes, SECR reporting, and supplier due diligence. Strong Excel skills and a proactive, collaborative approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in environmental or sustainability roles.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with carbon accounting and SECR reporting is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the collection, validation and analysis of environmental data for Scope 1, 2 and 3 carbon reporting.
• Coordinate data collection and transformation for annual carbon footprinting and SECR reporting.
• Coordinate Packaging EPR data collection and validation from suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Manage WEEE, Batteries and producer responsibility compliance activities.
• Oversee waste management reporting and maintain accurate records.
