Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Surgical Unit 1. The role provides general nursing care across the continuum in a busy health system, with a 7 days a week schedule.

The RN is accountable to practice nursing per the Ohio Board of Nursing, delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs, and participates in improving clinical quality and patient outcomes. BSN preferred and Ohio multi-state license required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license from the State of Ohio and/or a multi-state compact RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification is required.
• BSN degree is required at 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - Document planned nursing interventions to meet patient needs.
• Implementation/Evaluation - Evaluate and document response to interventions and adjust care as needed.
• Leadership - Participate in process improvement to improve quality and patient care.
• Operations - Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in duties.
