Overview
Our client, a leadingglobal company in theMedical Device and Healthcare industry, is currently looking for a Surgical Sales Executive to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This will be primarily on the road covering Munster with a focus on Cork, Waterford, and Limerick. This position will suit a high-performing sales individual and will manage, develop, and grow the Orthopaedic implant and power tools portfolio within the Munster region.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth to meet profitability and margin targets while expanding opportunities with existing and new customers.
- Promote and develop the Orthopaedic Implants & Power Tools portfolio, positioning the brand as a market leader.
- Lead theatre and hospital capital projects, delivering value as a trusted systems partner.
- Enhance service models for orthopaedic procedures and power tools across all disciplines.
- Build and strengthen partnerships within public and private hospitals in Munster.
- Manage key projects and identify efficiencies, growth opportunities, and competitive advantages.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis, providing insights and feedback to business leadership.
- Deliver training, presentations, in-services, and education to end-users.
- Represent the company and its products professionally, maintaining strong customer relationships and credibility.
- Keep up to date with product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor activity.
- Attend national and international exhibitions and conferences to support business growth.
Requirements
- Sales/Commercial experience in the medical/healthcare industry for a minimum of 2/3 years.
- Proven experience in building customer relationships.
- An excellent communicator with the ability to deal with customers effectively at all levels.
- Resilient, able to deal with a challenging and fast-paced environment.
- Self-driven and goal-oriented, with the tenacity to effectively handle and move past objections.
- Full clean driving license and flexible to travel onsite to meet clients.
