Job summary

Advent Risk Management Ltd, based in Dublin, is seeking a Surety Underwriter to assess and underwrite new and renewal surety bond applications, and to grow broker and client relationships.

The ideal candidate has underwriting or credit analysis experience, with knowledge of Irish construction or financial sectors. The role offers a hybrid working model and a path for career progression within a growing MGA underwriting for surety bonds.

Qualifications

• Experience in surety or credit underwriting or commercial financial risk analysis.

Advent Risk Management Ltd is home to a team of experienced professionals who underwrite surety risks in Ireland, UK and Europe and are now looking to add to that team.

Advent Risk Management Ltd. is a Managing General Agent (MGA) underwriting Surety bonds on behalf of an A rated insurance company and a panel of global reinsurers.We are regulated as an intermediary by the Central Bank of Ireland.

Our office is situated at Percy Place in Dublin 4, our staff are predominantly office based with some flexibility to work from home.

Role Summary

As a Surety Underwriter, you will be responsible for underwriting new and renewal surety business, developing broker and client relationships, and evaluating financial and non-financial risks to assess surety bond viability. The ideal candidate will have experience in underwriting, credit analysis, or related fields, and an understanding of the Irish construction or financial sectors is preferred.
