Job summary

Health Service Executive in Offaly is seeking a motivated Support Worker to assist individuals with intellectual disability to realise their vision for a ‘good life’. The role requires a QQI Level 5 Major Award or willingness to undertake it.

Successful candidates should be available for day, weekend, waking night duties and sleepover shifts, and may work across multiple locations as required. This permanent part-time position is based in the Offaly region within the HSE Dublin and Midlands

Qualifications

• Must hold a QQI Level 5 Major Award or be willing to undertake.
• Evidence of care-related training is advantageous.

'Candidates should hold a relevant HSE Recognised QQI Level 5 Qualification or willingness to undertake a relevant QQI Level 5 Major Award.There are various contracts for these roles. Please note that the successful candidates will be required to be available for any of day, weekend, waking night duty and ‘sleep-over / over-night’ shifts. We also require staff members to be willing to work alone in the residents’ homes and across a variety of locations if required.
