Job summary

St Christophers Services CLG is seeking a Support Worker for our Residential and Respite & Children's Service. The role focuses on person-centred care to promote independence and life quality, within a regulated framework, and involves co-operating to ensure smooth service operations.

We require a minimum of FETAC Level 5 in Social Care or related discipline, experience with intellectual disability, and a full clean driving licence with willingness to drive as part of duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum of FETAC Level 5 in Social Care/Special Needs/Healthcare or related discipline.
• Experience working with persons with an Intellectual Disability.
• Knowledge of residential, social and recreational needs of people with an Intellectual Disability.
• Knowledge of advocacy and individual personal plans/person centred planning.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to drive as part of role.

Support Worker

We are looking for a Support Worker within our Residential and Respite & Children's Service. The successful candidates will maintain the highest attainable standards of person‑centered care, to promote optimum independence and choice, and to enhance the quality of life of the Service User in all aspects of daily living within a regulated framework. To assist and co‑operate in the smooth running of the assigned area.

Residential Services

Permanent Position - Average of 26 hours per week based on a rolling roster. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, is required.

Qualification

• A Minimum of FETAC Level 5 in Social Care/Special Needs/Healthcare or related discipline

Experience

• Experience working with persons with an Intellectual Disability.
• Knowledge and experience of the residential, social, and recreational needs of persons with an Intellectual Disability
• Knowledge and experience of advocacy and individual personal plans/person centred planning.
