Job Description

Since first opening our doors in 2005, Autism Initiatives Ireland has provided specialist autism services for adults across our Residential, Respite, Day, and Community Support Services. Our vision statement voices our expectation that through supportive action people with autism can learn, develop and be enabled to have a sense of ownership over their own lives. Our aim is to positively work alongside autistic people, their families and carers in providing specialist individually tailored services for all to thrive from. The successful candidate will be afforded all necessary training and development in line with the role, including a detailed induction before joining the service.

Qualifications
  • A full QQI level 5 Health Care Qualification is essential (e.g. health, community, care sector).
  • A genuine passion for providing person-centred support is key to being successful in the role of a Support Worker.

  • Ability to work on own initiative

Schedule

Staff are required to work shifts on a rota basis including evenings and weekends and waking night duty shifts.
