Job summary

Unipharmedtech is seeking a Support Pharmacist for our Johnstown location. The role covers day-to-day dispensary operations with a focus on stock management, regulatory compliance, and presentation standards.

The successful candidate will hold PSI registration and a Pharmacy degree, and must be capable of working under pressure, multitasking, and driving business within the store. Excellent communication across diverse teams is essential.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the day-to-day running of the dispensary.

• Maintain Pharmacy Presentation Standards.

Job description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Support Pharmacist to join the team in our Hickeys Johnstown.

This is a 40-hour permanent position, with opening hours of 9 am to 9 pm Monday to Friday, 99 amam to 7 pm on Saturdays and 10 am to 7 pm on Sundays. This store currently has 1 Retail Store Manager, 1 Supervising Pharmacist, 1 Relief Pharmacist and 5 Technicians.

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the day to day running of the dispensary
• Take final responsibility within the store for Stock Management specifically relating to purchasing, ordering, stock management, merchandising, date checking and stocktaking
• Take final responsibility for ensuring controlled drugs regulations are strictly adhered to
• Take final responsibility for Pharmacy Presentation Standards

Requirements:

• Must have PSI registration and hold a degree in Pharmacy
• Have the ability to work under pressure and multi-task
• Must be capable of working on own initiative
• Drive business within the dispensary and store
• Ability to communicate and get along with a variety of different personalities
