Job summary

Clarity Recruitment is seeking a Support Pharmacist in Tralee, Co. Kerry. This is a 6-month contract with potential to extend to permanent, working 4 days per week. Ideally, Saturdays would be alternated; the team includes 1–2 Pharmacists and 2 Pharmacy Technicians. MPS is the dispensing system used.

Registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland and experience in an Irish pharmacy are required. Salary is DOE and negotiable.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in an Irish pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and efficient dispensing service in accordance with PSI regulations, pharmacy guidelines, and best practice standards.
• Ensure the safe and effective supply of medicines while providing professional advice and counselling to patients.
• Support the Supervising Pharmacist in maintaining high standards of patient care and pharmacy operations; engage with customers to build relationships and promote loyalty.
• Manage and monitor stock levels, ensuring correct storage, handling, and monitoring of dated products.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant pharmacy legislation and procedures; support the wider pharmacy team.
