Job summary

Primark is seeking a Supply Chain Project Manager to lead the operational ramp‑up and transition of a new distribution facility into business‑as‑usual operations. You will collaborate with the project team to ensure readiness and provide hands‑on support to achieve a smooth site launch.

You’ll manage key readiness activities, coordinate with operational leaders, suppliers and contractors, and produce progress reports that track milestones, risks and governance. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience delivering complex operational change.
• Significant experience in supply chain, logistics or site launches.
• Strong understanding of operational readiness and go‑live activities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication across teams.
• Organisational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on, delivery-focused approach with practical problem solving.
• Analytical, reporting and coordination abilities for project governance.
• PM qualification or equivalent experience; travel flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate activities to support the operational ramp-up of the distribution facility.
• Deliver a seamless transition from project phase to business-as-usual operations.
• Coordinate with operational leadership to implement processes and controls for site start-up.
• Monitor readiness activities, identify risks, and ensure milestones are met.
• Act as liaison between project team, operations, suppliers and contractors.
• Support governance, planning, reporting, and issue resolution across the project.
• Produce regular progress reports with milestones, risks and go-live readiness.
• Facilitate communication and engagement with stakeholders during the transition.
