HS Financial Technologies seeks a Portfolio Accounting Supervisor to oversee reconciliations delivery under supervision of a Portfolio Accounting Manager and Director. You will mentor the team and ensure timely cash, trade and portfolio reconciliations, while maintaining strict controls.

The role covers supervision of cash, position and OTC reconciliations, development of the team, and adherence to AML/KYC and internal checklists, with hybrid remote/work options in Ireland.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in hedge fund administration or similar
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Legal or Business relevant field
• Strong IT literacy and proficiency with standard business software

Responsabilités

• Liaise with internal service departments to resolve fund issues
• Escalate issues and aged items to Portfolio Accounting Manager

Description du poste

A Portfolio Accounting Supervisor is required to execute our reconciliations service delivery. The reconciliations shall be executed within the guidelines and procedures provided by HS Financial Technologies and under the supervision and guidance of a Portfolio Accounting Manager and Director. They will facilitate the timely and accurate delivery of operational deliverables (Trade, Cash and Portfolio reconciliations) and work closely with the portfolio accountants under their supervision. Supervision of the cash, position and OTC reconciliation processes are an integral part of the Portfolio Accounting Supervisor’s role. They will assist in the development of the team, setting goals and acting as a guide and mentor to direct reports. Every Portfolio Accounting Supervisor will receive the requisite Induction Training in addition to both compulsory (AML/KYC) and optional training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review cash and position reconciliations
• Resolve break items on reconciliations in a timely manner
• Review compliance with HSFT defined checklists, procedures and controls
• Converse and liaise with internal services departments to resolve miscellaneous fund issues
• Escalate issues and aged items to Portfolio Accounting Manager
• Assist team development by providing guidance, training and mentoring to Portfolio Accountants, setting their goals and monitoring performance
• Ensure pre-agreed internal and external deadlines are met consistently

Our requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience working in a hedge fund administration firm is required.
• Accounting, Finance, Legal or Business Degree.
• IT Literate.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills
