Job summary

The Maples Group in Dublin is seeking a Supervisor to lead data and reporting for portfolio accounting and operations. This hybrid role supports global Middle Office clients and requires strong Excel skills, finance background, and client service mindset.

You will design automated reporting processes, assist in client onboarding, and collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver bespoke client solutions. A finance/accounting degree and 1–4 years in finance are preferred.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1-4 years’ work experience in finance or financial services.
• University degree in finance or accounting.
• Fund accounting or fund administration experience preferred.
• Experience with Investran and/or Geneva preferred.
• Experience in relationship management and client service.
• General technical and systems skills are an asset.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of project management framework and time management.

• Support day-to-day operations for institutional clients under supervision.
• Manage all aspects of portfolio accounting and performance.

The Opportunity

The Senior Data and Reporting Analyst will join a global team that is responsible for supporting portfolio accounting, operations and reporting functions in Dublin in order to provide services to our global Middle Office clients.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Reporting directly to the Vice President, the successful candidate will be involved in the day-to-day operational support of our institutional clients;
• The Senior Data and Reporting Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of portfolio accounting and performance, as well as elements of process analysis and re-engineering;
• He/she will ensure that portfolio accounting data is maintained in relevant systems in a timely and accurate manner;
• Design and implement automated processes for accounting and reporting; assist in client on-boarding process for new clients; assist in gathering client requirements and reporting;
• Demonstrate keen awareness of industry and technology; and
• Work with internal and external parties to resolve issues and further develop bespoke client solutions

What You Bring

• A minimum of 1-4 years’ work experience in finance or financial services
• The ideal candidate will have a university degree in finance or accounting
• Fund accounting or fund administration specific experience is preferred
• Experience with Investran and or Geneva is preferred

• General technical and systems skills is an asset
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of project management framework
• Excellent time management, organizational, prioritization, and communication skills
