Job summary

QR Select in Galway City is seeking a Supervising Pharmacist for a busy community pharmacy. The role is full-time, four days per week, including every second Saturday, and offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated healthcare team.

You will dispense medications, manage stock, uphold SOPs and regulatory standards, and build strong relationships with patients and suppliers. The successful candidate will hold PSI registration and a BSc (Pharm) or MPharm and work independently with strong time

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervising Pharmacist for a busy community pharmacy in Galway City

The role is full time, 4 day a week including every 2nd Saturday

As a Supervising Pharmacist, your keyresponsibilitieswill include:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with patients, suppliers, and the local community to foster customer loyalty.
• Dispensing prescriptions efficiently and accurately while adhering to all regulatory and professional standards.
• Monitoring stock levels and liaising with suppliers to ensure the availability of required medications.
• Ensuring all paperwork is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborating with the pharmacy owners to ensure the store operates efficiently and meets performance goals.
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy and providing leadership to the team.

You will be part of a dedicated healthcare team focused on delivering exceptional patient care to the local community.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A BSc (Pharm) or MPharm qualification.
• Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
• The ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients, colleagues, and suppliers.

Your daily responsibilities will include:
