Job summary

Flynn O’Driscoll invites 3rd and 4th year law students to apply for a June/July 2027 internship. The role provides on-the-job training, participation in client meetings, and exposure to a partner-led team on diverse files.

Successful candidates will show ambition, excellent organisation, strong writing and research skills, and the ability to work well both independently and in a team. Benefits and a competitive salary are offered.

Qualifications

• Law student from 3rd year onwards; applications from 3rd year.
• Strong writing and research abilities; capable of handling confidential information.
• Organisational and prioritisation skills essential for internship.

If you are in 3rd or 4th year and would like to join us as an intern for June / July 2027, the closing date for applications is 30th November 2026.

The role will include the following work:

Interns have the opportunity to get involved in interesting and challenging work, receiving practical “on-the-job” training including attending meetings with clients, completing first drafts of transaction documents and consistently interacting with a partner team on files.

Throughout the programme, our interns participate in a range of activities which include:

• Team sessions with each practice area giving them insight into the team breakdown and types of work
• Visiting our Galway office
• Information meetings with their trainee ‘buddies’ to learn more about FE1 exams and Blackhall
• Celebrating Pride Month
• Completing a group presentation
• Dinner with their ‘buddies’
