Job summary

Global Professional Consultants in Dublin is seeking a Structural Engineer at an early-career level to support civil and structural projects across pharmaceutical and industrial facilities.

You will work with experienced engineers to develop design and delivery skills, produce calculations and drawings, and coordinate BIM models within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering required.
• 2+ years' experience in a design consultancy or similar.
• Strong knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and Eurocodes.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit essential.
• Experience with structural software TEKLA, Tedds, Robot or STAAD Pro.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and delivery of civil and structural projects.
• Carry out structural calculations and develop analytical models.
• Prepare engineering drawings, designs and documentation.
• Assist in developing practical design solutions for structural elements.
• Take ownership of small project work packages under guidance.

A leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their expanding team in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience across a range of building projects, particularly within the pharmaceutical and industrial sectors. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers, developing your technical design, coordination and project delivery skills within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Projects:

• Structural and civil design for pharmaceutical and industrial facilities
• New build and upgrade works across complex operational environments
• Multidisciplinary projects involving structural, civil, MEP and architectural teams
• Reinforced concrete, steel, masonry and timber design projects
• Design-led projects with strong exposure to real-world delivery

Role:

• Support the design and delivery of civil and structural engineering projects
