HD McKay in Letterkenny seeks motivated Structural Design Engineers to join a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team delivering residential, commercial, and public-sector projects.

This role offers hybrid/remote arrangements for the right candidate and requires design delivery from concept through completion while ensuring compliance with planning, building regs, and safety standards.

Competenze

• Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (Level 8)
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in Ireland
• Proficiency with BC(A)R, design codes and standards
• Experience with buildings projects and post-occupancy reviews
• Familiarity with Master Series, Tekla or AutoCAD is desirable

Mansioni

• Lead design and delivery of residential and commercial projects from concept to post-occupancy.
• Develop design outputs across all RIAI/EI work stages.
• Prepare design presentations, reports, drawings for clients and stakeholders.
• Facilitate client and consultant meetings to support project progress.
• Collaborate with Architects in meetings to progress projects.
• Ensure design work complies with planning, building regulations and safety standards.
• Review contractor submissions and conduct site inspections for alignment with drawings.
• Engage in CPD and skills development for continuous improvement.
